I love happy accidents and this roll of film I accidently double-exposed is a favorite. Back in the olden days I'd occasionally shoot a roll of film of a classic movie, a big sporting event or a major news story. I guess I wanted to own these moments visually.

Over twenty years ago I had shot the Iran-Contra hearings without realizing I had already photographed the movie Fanny and Alexander. Imagine my shock and total delight when I got this roll back. I only wish I had shot more.
