Nothing beats the joy of fulfilling one of my illustration dreams, the fact that it was about -twist my arm- drawing musicians, and that at the same time I got a terrific music lesson from Alex Ross about these young European composers who are creating new sounds mixing their classical instruments with computers, video game controllers
and all sorts of gadgetry

These are a couple of the sketches and color explorations I did before settling down for a less vibrant pallet

The illustration is featured in this week's issue. Wrapped in its blue tones, are my thoughts for my old town and the people of New York.
