FEBRUARY 27, 2007
JIMMY CARTER whose Carter Center is addressing neglected diseases like the guinea worm, which grows inside of people who do not have access to clean drinking water. These worms then, as in a horror movie, emerge from the skin. The Carter Center is on track to eradicating this disease. Pres. Carter may be able to relate.
