Welcome to The Museum of Forgotten Art Supplies... where tools of the trade that have died or have just about died a slow slow death are cheerfully exhibited.
Lou welcomes you to submit images of any artistic tools, machinery, gadgets, etc. that you feel have bitten the dust.

HOWEVER: We're up to around 300 artifacts now, so please check the collection before submitting and make sure you're NOT sending a duplicate of something that's already exhibited. A color, size, or design variation of an item is still cool (see the three Proportion Wheel images as an example).

In the meantime, thanks so much to everyone who's contributed so many ghosts of graphic arts past!!

Adjustable Triangle
by Lou Brooks
Long before any draftsman, illustrator, or cartoonist could fathom a term like "Edit > Transform > Rotate," the adjustable triangle was always available to help decide just the precise angle. Considered pretty high drawgering technology in its day.
