When we were putting my show in the main entrance of the Brooklyn Public Library ,we were among to the throngs of people , and many were asking me questions about the presidential election.
There was great optimism of an Obama victory , but. it wasn't a done deal yet. I do have a very cute John McCain to keep any lingering republicans happy.
It was great that so many people of all ages and ethnicity's asked about my art on the eve of a historical election. It was a great experience .
The show opened on Election day, and the jubilation began that historic night. We had a reception in the basement the following Thursday. It was a perfect time for a exhibition like this.
I hope that some of you Drawger friends can come over to see the show this Saturday afternoon. It'll be up till January 10
