Should the “Don't Ask, Don't Tell” policy towards homosexuals in the military be repealed in favor of a more open approach? Here’s an Op-Ed illustration I did for Greg Klee at The Boston Globe last week. I was asked to convey both a more open and a more closed policy in the art. As part of my concept I used camouflage, and soon discovered that it is one of the more difficult things to illustrate.
Here's one of my sketches. Although it worked well graphically, it didn't show both sides of the issue as clearly.
