Beastman (sydney)

About a month ago I went to see the Outpost street art exhibition held in Cockatoo Island in Sydney Harbour.
After a ten minute ferry trip with amazing views to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge we arrived to the island which used to be a penal establishment and a ship building facility during the world wars. The site has amazing industrial archeology from the early years of the previous century and it is ment to be kept in a way to preserve this history. Aditionaly it is used as a cultural centre overlaying the amazing historical condition.
I enjoyed so much this setting under the Sydney blue sky walking through this exhibition. I hope these photos are able to capture some of it for you.
It included International artists such as Banksy, also local favourites such as Anthony Lister, Beastman and James Reka.

There was a special t-shirt exhibition within. 'NEXT: The future of T-shirt graphics'. A long line of t-shirts arranged by colour and printed/designed by recognized artists included one of my Sydney based favourites We Buy Your Kids.
Check out this video if you want to know more about the future of T-shirt graphics.
