Some drawings from a current sketchbook. 'Am trying something a little different with this book, where I will put down a quick sketch on paper - a face or a hand or animal- and then leave that page alone for a while. The hope is that the white space will look less familiar - have different possibilities- when I come across it again, and maybe that will help me avoid some of the lazy or repetitive habits that happen when I force myself to "finish" a drawing or fill in a page all at once. ( Oh hell, who knows? - somebody advised me to talk a little about "process" here). Anyhow, three of these sketches include the incorrigible "Pico", who is maybe a dog, and who apparently will not slow down.
