Just did this cover for SF Weekly with Andrew J. Nilsen who I meet at A.I. a few weeks ago. Basically the story was a dull real estate tax tale and Andrew wanted to make it fun, so he told me to go crazy. (not really, I made that up.. the crazy part) Anyhew, I thought I'd play with the idea of loopholes and envisioned a cover full of holes with elements popping out. I'm happy Andrew went with that idea. He also contributed many good suggestions along the way as well, like adding the type into the art and flipping some of the figures upside down. The basic story centered on a skyscraper that transfered ownership without triggering a reassessment of it's tax value, costing the city of San Fran a bundle.

A fun quick job from Ad Age. Kinda along the lines of Welcome to NJ postcards but they had to incorporate two visual-demographics of the town. For instance "factories and farms" for Tenton. No Bali. : ( Thanks Jesper!

Did this quick info-graphic for Ad Age AD Jesper Goransson about how Porn sites steal traffic with tricky little spy pages. A tiny 1 pixel window will open hidden to the viewer that has scripting that collects your clicks and sends it on to be mis-labeled as legit ad-clicks/page views duping advertisers into thinking they are buying legit page views.
