Tom Vasquez, Steve Heller and I recently participated in a spate of logos and icons in the new identity for Bronx River Alliance. It was fun, mostly. The work was entirely pro bono and was done in conjunction with desigNYC, a new non profit dedicated to making New York City "better by design". This photo was taken by yours truly. We went out to the Bronx several times and got a tour of the alliance facilities. The project took close to 6 months.
Below is some of the process, including Tom and I's sketches/ revisions, client feedback and typography. I'll be loading up some of the other ingredients that are part of the system but thought to offer this one up first.
