It has been a bittersweet holiday season for me. I will be saying goodbye to the bay area, but I know that there is a lot in store for me in Michigan. I will miss the friends that I have made here in California, I will miss the weather, but I am excited for the chance to teach illustration. I go through a rollercoaster or emotions from being really excited, to being really nervous to the anxiety of getting to school on time…
Because of Drawger, I have been able to connect with people who have an impact on me both as an artist and as a person. I have been able to meet people whose work I have admired for a long time. I appreciate your comments even though I fail to reply most times. It makes my day when I post something and someone is moved to comment!
I hope this next year will bring great things to each of you. I hope it brings a measure of peace to this world. I hope it is a prosperous year for all of us. I hope that our country will find its way. I hope we all can make great works of art, work that makes a difference.
I hope to keep the resolutions that I make, the resolutions that I don’t write down or speak of, for fear of not keeping them.
Here is to an amazing 2007!!!
