Harry Hubble
Towards the end of last year I worked with JWT New York on a great little Ad project for Huggies wipes called Harry Hubble The Boy In The Plastic Bubble. The project took the form a kids story about a boy called Harry Hubble who was kept inside a plastic bubble by his neurotic mum. Afraid of letting him out to do the kind of messy things boys like to do she rolled him around in his plastic bubble in order to keep him clean. Enter her discovery of Huggies wipes and the liberation of Harry.
The initial idea was to produce an actual kids book which is still in the pipeline,  but what has recently been produced from the images are a press ad, mailshot, and website.
The deadline was a gruelling 2 weeks on this one and there were a good number of 4AM starts for me. Whilst enduring the caffeinie fuelled halicinations and dreamlike semi conscious states in the studio Harry popped to life pinocchio stylee to keep me company. He still lives inside my computer if i type in these words
Will the real Harry Hubble please stand up.
Thanks speedy for mailing this over. How's the origami coming along?

Viva l'Espana
Time out on Las Ramblas
I was let out of my box earlier in the week and headed for Barcelona. I was the guest of the hugely talented Catalina Estrada and her husband Pancho Tolchinsky.
I had an inspiring time. Met some beautiful people. Including fellow Drawger Hanoch Piven who I hooked up with in his natural environment.

Hanoch not like elephant Hanoch kill elephant
We had lunch with Hanoch. I made an elephant for the master from my mandarin peel. Hanoch stared intensely at my creation. Only when i developed the image were his true sentiments revelaed.
Disturbing items number 81 & 213 form Hanoch's studio.
